Lipstick Forest

If you liked the colored facade that I posted previously here, I’m sure you’d want to check out the other brilliant installation at the Palais des Congres in Montreal. The “Lipstick Forest”, a set of 52 concrete trees planted to represent the city’s thriving Cosmetics industry, by Claude Cormier & Associates. You can see the rest of their work here.

I See Colors Everywhere

Although I work around downtown Montreal, I don’t normally get a chance to explore the area. I have very little time during the week, and it usually is very crowded during the weekends, so I tend to avoid it. But since I was off on Thursday and Friday, I thought it would the perfect time to walk around. My first stop was to check out the colorful glass windows / facade of the Palais des Congres which I think give this place a playful yet modern look.
